Okay, when I say “schlop” I don’t mean that I hate Jean Claude Van Guile’s Street Fighter movie. Hell, I love that. But this fan flick is everything a Street Fighter movie should be. Minimal story, cool fights and hadoken spam. I’ve gotta say, though that I could do without the game-accurate mega eyebrows. It’s too distrating and silly to take seriously. Oh, and I couldn’t help but laugh at that jump kick at the end. They stopped at least 2 yards from each other and had no intention of actually connecting those kicks.
Oh, and this was funded by Capcom. Umm.. so why haven’t they made a game-accurate Street Fighter movie then? Instead we got The Legend of Lana Lang. At least it had Chris “Charlie Nash” Klein I suppose…
